Los Palms stammen aus Adelaide, Südaustralien und veröffentlichten ihr Debütalbum „Skeleton Ranch“ 2022 auf dem renommierten britischen Label Fuzz Club Records: Eine Platte, die einen ansteckenden und hedonistischen Cocktail aus schwungvollem Surf-Rock, 60s Garage und „13th-floor psychedelia“ serviert. Los Palms beschreiben ihren Sound als „Desert Jangle“, mit Einflüssen von peruanischen 60s Bands wie Los Saicos, Los Destellos und Los Holy’s bis hin zu ihren aktuellen kalifornischen Lieblingen wie Allah-Las und die Night Beats.
Nach einigen Umbesetzungen erschien am 29. August 2025 bei Fuzz Club, ihr neues, zweites Album „Los Palms“. Diese Platte fängt die Unmittelbarkeit von Los Palms perfekt ein, veredelt durch eine üppige, volle Produktion, die jede tremolo-getränkte Gitarre und jeden hallgetränkten Gesang zum Strahlen bringt. Es ist eine fesselnde Reise und ein mutiger Schritt in der Entwicklung der Band.
Die Gruppe besteht aus Ant Candlish (Gitarre/Gesang), William Lee (Gitarre), Paul Ingham (Bass) und Josh Pullinen (Schlagzeug).
